About Me

Hello! I am Sen Lu, an Assistant Professor in the School of Insurance at the Central University of Finance and Economics. My research studies strategic behavior, identification, and prediction under latent or incomplete information, combining game theory and econometric methods.

My work develops game-theoretic foundations for symmetric environments with latent information, including reduced equilibrium characterizations and counterfactual analysis, and studies market structure and strategic interaction using structural econometric methods. I work on settings such as entry games and matching markets, with applications to insurance demand, spectrum-license mergers, cooperative pharmaceutical R&D, and the thoroughbred breeding market.

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Rice University in 2024.
